Walnut Tree Barn Project, Appleton Warrington

Just over 12 months ago we took on a major refurbishment project, Walnut tree barn in Appleton Warrington was an old derilict building but had potential to be converted into a family home, dating back into the eighteen hundreds, the barn had layed in a state of decay for a number of years, its last use over fifty years ago as a milking shed. On day one of the conversion the main priority was to clear the site of weeds that had overgrown the land to a great extent, and remove the old hay from the loft that had been stored there, and so started the story!!
